The Best of Both Worlds- Advanced Design:
5" Vortex Half Ball is designed to fit within the narrow DIY Skate Kit rail and the Vortex board that uses the Skate rail. We made a few advanced design adjustments by shaving down two vertical sides and created the recessed area on the flat side. This allows you to keep the tall height for maximum tilt and place a 3" Mini Ball inside for the advanced Thrasher combo.
Max Out Your Vortex or Skate Rail:
Combine the narrow Vortex board and 2.5" inches in height to get the best responsive tilt and challenge. You can make the Vortex board into a great ankle/calf stretching slant board. Use with our larger Starter boards at the beginner level for the Freestyle, Surf and Powder Starters. You now
Balance On This:
You have the freedom to place half balls anywhere which makes each exercise unique. Keep it centered for an even weight distribution or place it to the side and work that side harder. Place one half ball under the board to create a wobble board and have board tilt in 360 full rotation. Place two half balls under the board to create a rocker board that will tilt in two directions. Balancing left and right, forward and backward or on a diagonal plane.
